Temple Season Ends with Loss to #16 UMass on Senior Day

Temple closed the game tallying four straight goals to give the final 13-7 score. For the game, UMass outshot the Owls 25-to-24 thanks in part to a 17-to-5 edge in the first half. The Minutewomen won 15 of 22 draws in the game, however, Temple held a 22-to-15 advantage in groundballs.

UMass has now won nine consecutive games this season and 18 straight against A-10 foes. The Minutewomen will be going for their fourth straight Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament title beginning Friday at Robins Stadium in Richmond, Va.

Duquesne earned the No. 2 seed and will face host No. 3 seed Richmond on Friday at 1:00 pm. The Championship game will be played on Sunday, April 29 starting at 1:00 pm and will be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network.
