Vermont Drops Non-Conference Finale to Dartmouth

In the third, Vermont started to cut into the Dartmouth lead scoring the only two goals of the period. The Catamount run continued in the final quarter, scoring the first two goals to cut the lead to 7-5 with 14:12 left in the game. The Big Green responded with the final three scores to seal a 10-5 victory.

Costabile led the team with three goals, while Dooley and Tunney led the team in points. Dooley finished the game with a goal and four assists, and Tunney scored two goals and recorded three assists.

Vermont took 38 shots compared to 33 for the Dartmouth. The Big Green went 2 for 3 in extra-man opportunities, while the Catamounts went 1 for 3.

Dartmouth plays its final road and Ivy League game of the season on Saturday, April 28, when it travels to Brown for a 3:00 p.m. game.
