The advantage lasted for 2:51 when Diana D'Achille triggered the 6-0 Pacer run over the final 14:28 of the half. Commisso, D'Achille, and Kathy DiGiacomo finished with two goals apiece in the half as the hosts led by an 8-3 margin.

Kennedy brought the Hawks to within four with her first tally 14 seconds into the second half. Three quick Pacer goals in a 1:38 span, however, would increase the margin to seven, 11-4.

Kennedy scored at 24:01 only to have McKeown tally twice in a three-goal spurt later on. The two teams traded four goals each over the final 15 minutes.

Jweid scored on a free-position shot with 14:51 remaining. She added another just over five minutes later. McKeown scored her final goal of the day with just under eight minutes left on the clock before Hartwick senior Brittany LaVaute (Skaneateles, NY/Skaneateles HS) tallied at 5:26.

Commisso completed her hat-trick with 2:17 left. Jweid picked up her fourth with LaVaute assisting to close out the scoring with 44 ticks to go.

Marywood out-shot Hartwick 34-23 on the night. The Pacers held slim edges in ground balls (19-15) and draws (16-12).

Freshman goalie Steph Luce (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs HS) made 12 saves for Hartwick. Pacer keeper Leigha Dolcemascolo stopped 10 Hawk shots.

Scicchitano registered team-bests of five ground balls, four draws, and three caused turnovers on the evening. LaVaute, Kennedy, and Morgan Galipeau (Bennington, VT/Mount Anthony Union) each had three ground balls.
