Franklin & Marshall Holds off Royal Rallies for Victory

Scranton made it 7-4 with the first two scores of the third quarter before Jordan Barr netted an unassisted goal at 9:04 to give F&M a four goal lead. The Royals answered with a pair of goals, but F&M answered with a pair of its own to make it 10-6 heading into the fourth. Jones netted his third score and Joe Bowen found Wenk at 1:41 for the second goal.

McKew fed Kempner midway through the fourth to give F&M an 11-6 lead before Scranton scored three straight to make it 11-9 with 3:10 left to play. Kilpatrick netted the final goal of the game with 31 seconds left to seal the victory.

Rob Rumer was 7 for 11 from the X and Andrew Setian won eight faceoffs with a team-high seven groundballs.

Ben Feldberg picked up the win in goal with seven saves while Ben Worthington took the loss with 12 stops.
