Fitchburg State Routs Massachusetts-Maritime

The Falcons took a 7-2 advantage into the locker room at the break and exploded for 12 second half goals to post their fifth league victory of the year. Benoit led the Falcons second half charge with four scores in the period, while White added a trio of markers.

Fitchburg State dominated all contest, totaling a 40-28 margin in shots and a 15-11 advantage on the draw. The Falcons also possessed the ball, collecting 33 groundballs in the match, while also causing 27 Buccaneer turnovers.

Bartlett and Finamore led all scorers with seven points apiece, while White and Benoit combined for nine goals on the night. In net, sophomore Dylana Drolette (Burlington, Vt./Burlington) earned the victory, totaling 15 saves in her complete game effort, while Tenley Gillett (Manchester, N.H./Gulvey Academy) stopped 14 shots for the Bucs.
