ANNAPOLIS, Md. - In Saturday's quarterfinal matches at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, No. 10 Maryland used a 6-0 run spanning the second and third quarters, controlled 17 of 22 face-offs, and dominated time of possession to defeat No. 7 Johns Hopkins, 11-5, and No. 2 Loyola fought off a furious rally by No. 13 Denver, which pulled to within one goal with 2:43 remaining, and the Greyhounds survived to earn a 10-9 victory.
