Dowling Holds off Limestone to Capture Div. II Championship

Vito DeMola led Dowling with a game-high four goals and an assist while Brendan Hayes dished out three assists. Louis Riley was strong at the center X with 14 faceoff wins in 25 attempts and picked up a game-high nine groundballs. Ryan Dougherty made six saves while allowing all 10 goals but made a key save with 18 seconds to play to hold on for the victory and improve to 13-2.

Limestone closes out the 2012 campaign with a program record 17 wins against only two losses and its seventh appearance in the NCAA Division II National Championship Game.
