Chestnut Hill to Welcome Nine Recruits for the 2013 Season
Scott Parke – (Springfield, PA/Springfield Delco/Delaware County CC) – Defense
Parke was a two-year varsity starter for Springfield-Delco High School and earned an All-Central League Honorable Mention as a senior. He transfers to Chestnut Hill College after spending sophomore year away from lacrosse while studying at Delaware County Community College (DCCC). He started every game as a freshman at Neumann University and led the team in caused turnovers. Parke was named to the Dean's List at both Neumann University and DCCC.
Michael Plaia – (Hicksville, NY/Holy Trinity Diocesan) – Attack
Plaia is a three-year varsity attack with big game experience. His 30 points in his junior campaign helped push Holy Trinity Diocesan High School to a New York State CHSAA (Catholic High School Athletic Association) Championship in 2011. In his senior season, he led his team in goals (45) and points (55).
Nick Thomas – (South Ogden, UT/Bonneville) – Midfield
Thomas was a two-time captain for Bonneville High School and was twice named All-North Division I First Team performer. In his last two seasons he compiled 95 points, 142 ground balls and won greater than 63% of his face-offs, earning him the Face-Off Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors at the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Showcase in 2010. Thomas was a three-time honor roll student at Bonneville High School.
