Kristy Black, Bria Eulitt Added to GW Lacrosse Coaching Staff

"I am thrilled to be a part of the GW lacrosse family and I am really looking forward to working with this coaching staff and our student-athletes," said Eulitt. "I am grateful for the opportunity to work with the Colonials' program and to promote such an outstanding university. My lacrosse career has been influenced by many great coaches, players and experiences, both locally and internationally. These experiences have given me the skills and knowledge that I hope to bring to GW, so the student-athletes can be successful on and off the field."

Prior to working at Richmond this past season, Eulitt served as head coach of the Wilderness Lacrosse Club in Adelaide, South Australia during the summer of 2010. While overseas, she helped develop the U-18 and U-15 high school lacrosse programs at the Wilderness School through practices and games, skill and goalkeeper instruction to enhance player performance, and coordinating offensive and defensive sets.

While also coaching the team during practices, Eulitt was also a member of the Wilderness Women's Lacrosse Club team where she played midfield alongside members of the Australia and Japan national teams. In 2007, Eulitt helped the U.S. Women's Under 19 team win the gold medal in the World Championships in Peterborough, Ontario.

During the summers of 2008, 2010 and 2011, Eulitt worked as a counselor at various lacrosse camps along the East Coast, including Duke, Maryland, Navy, Richmond and Virginia. She also served as an assistant coach with M&D Lacrosse during the summer from 2007-09.

A four-year starter two-year captain, Eulitt was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team following her first year at Richmond. She earned a spot on the league's first team following her junior campaign and the second team following her senior season. In 2010 she was named to the VaSID Second Team. Additionally, she was selected to attend the 2011 NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis, Ind. Eulitt graduated fromRichmond in the spring of 2011 with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
