Ohio St. Announces Lacrosse Newcomers for the 2013 Season

COLUMBUS, Ohio Nick Myers, Ohio State men's lacrosse head coach, announced the addition of 14 players to the Buckeye roster for 2012-13, including 13 freshmen. The class was slotted No. 16 by Inside Lacrosse in its annual recruiting rankings, with five players ranked in the Top 50 for their individual positions and three Top 100 players overall.

"The Class of 2016 features young men from some of the most successful high school programs in the country," Myers, entering his fifth year at the helm of the Buckeyes, said. "Many of the incoming players are coming off championship seasons. We feel strongly about the character of this class; we are confident they will make Buckeye Nation proud both on and off the field in their time here at The Ohio State University."

In all, the group hails from five states and includes three attackmen, six midfielders and five defensemen.
