Regis (MA) Names Matt Sagistano New Offensive Coordinator

Matt Sagistano joins the Regis men's lacrosse coaching staff as the offensive coordinator for the Pride.

A 2010 graduate of Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, he earned a spot on the University's Dean's List along with holding a position on the East Coast Conference Commissioner's High Honor Roll.

On the field, Sagistano played in 22 contests for the Panthers at the midfield position. He had a shot on goal percentage of 80% during the 2009 season during which time he played under Blumenthal.

Prior to his tenure at Adelphi, he spent two seasons at national lacrosse powerhouse Nassau Community College where he earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts.

For the Lions, he served as team captain during his second season, the same year his team won a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national championship after falling in the same contest one year earlier. For his efforts he garnered All-Region honors.

On the coaching front, Sagistano has worked at numerous lacrosse camps and school levels while also serving as a member of the Adelphi athletic events operations staff.

Sagistano is completing his Master's Degree program in Special Education at Regis College.
