All-Major League Lacrosse Team for 2012 Announced

Honored as a member of the All-MLL Team for the second straight season, Evans played in 11 games for the Bayhawks this season and contributed a career-high 10 ground balls. He had a season-high four ground balls at Rochester on July 14 and also had two ground balls against Ohio on July 21 and against Long Island on August 4.

A four-year MLL veteran, Evans has played in 41 career games for the Bayhawks and has 22 ground balls in his career.

Selected as the Warrior MLL Goalkeeper of the Year for the second year in a row, Adams started all 14 games while leading Long Island to an 8-6 record and the number four seed in the playoffs. He ranked fourth in the MLL with an 11.91 goals against average while stopping 52.0 per cent of the shots he has faced. With 179 saves, he ranked third in the MLL.

Adams posted at least 10 saves in 11 games, including a season-high 17 saves in a victory over Charlotte on May 12. In addition, he posted 16 saves in a one-goal victory over the Boston Cannons on June 9 and earned Bud Light MLL Player of the Game honors. A four-year MLL veteran, Adams has made 504 saves in his career while posting a .534 save percentage with an 11.72 goals against average.

The MLL leader with 230 face-off wins and 124 ground balls, Gurenlian earned his first career All-MLL Team selection while leading the Lizards to a playoff berth. In addition, he scored four goals with three assists while playing in 14 games. During the season, he collected at least 10 ground balls seven times, including a season-high 12 ground balls in four separate games.

A six-year MLL veteran, Gurenlian has won 797 of 1473 face-off attempts (.541) while recording 339 ground balls in 60 career games. He has also scored 33 goals with 17 assists.

The MLL Championship Weekend presented by Warrior will be held on August 25 and 26 at Harvard Stadium. The top-seeded Denver Outlaws will face the fourth-seeded Long Island Lizards in the first semifinal at 1:00 p.m. before the second-seeded Chesapeake Bayhawks will play against the defending MLL champion Boston Cannons, who earned the third seed, in the second semifinal at approximately 4:00 p.m.

The two semifinal winners will play in the championship game on Sunday, August 26 at 3:00 p.m.
