George Washington Lacrosse Adds Nine Newcomers for 2013

Becca Taub on why she chose GW: "After experiencing the wonderful chemistry that the lacrosse team and the coaching staff have, I knew George Washington was a perfect fit for me. The opportunity to be a part of the team and play lacrosse in such a great environment, while also attending a university with such an excellent academic reputation in an exciting city, is everything I could want in a college experience."

Rebecca Emily Taub was born on Nov. 11, 1993, in Philadelphia, Pa. She is the daughter of Francine and William Taub and has an older sister, Sarah. Becca intends to major in speech and hearing sciences at GW.

Hallie Walker | Attack | Mountain Lakes, N.J.
Mountain Lakes High School Metro Lacrosse Club | 5-foot-5

Hallie comes to GW after guiding her Mountain Lakes squad to back-to-back Group 1 North sectional championship games where it earned runner-up status following a Group 1 North title in 2009. During her senior season Hallie scored her 100th career goal and earned all-league and all-county honorable mention accolades. She was also a New Jersey Senior All-Star. In 2011 Hallie landed a spot on the all-league second team and all-county honorable mention honors. She was a member of National Honors Society and Key Club. Hallie also competed for Metro Lacrosse.

Hallie Ann Walker was born on Nov. 8, 1993, in Morristown, N.J. She is the daughter of Shari and Marc Walker and has a younger brother, Andrew.
