Bayhawks Team up with Reichardt Foundation

ANNAPOLIS, MD Chesapeake has released the limited-edition chromed Bayhawks helmets for auction online to benefit the Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation. Each helmet was autographed by a member of the 2012 MLL Championship squad and one was autographed by many members of the team.

The Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation was founded in January of 1995 as a result of the tragic death of a former St. Mary's High School student, Kevin Reichardt. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over 50 partial college, community college, and St. Mary's High School need-based scholarships to deserving community leaders and students who embody the characteristics of Kevin.

The mission of the Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation (KRF) is to promote, foster, and further the academic, personal and professional development of young men and women who embody the positive attributes and spirit of Kevin E. Reichardt.

Earlier this season, the Bayhawks hosted a fundraiser event during the game vs. the Boston Cannons. Chesapeake continues its dedication to the community through raffling these signature helmets to the highest bidders online. All the helmets can be viewed and bid on at the Bayhawks web site - www.thebayhawks.com. The auction will culminate on Friday and the helmets will each be awarded to the highest bidder. All proceeds will benefit the KRF.

Helmet autographs include a team helmet and individual helmets signed by the following players midfielders Kyle Dixon, Ben Hunt, and Michael Kimmel, attackmen John Grant, Jr and Drew Westervelt, and defensemen Michael Evans, Nicky Polanco, and Brian Spallina. Bid today!
