Hartford Welcomes 14 Newcomers for 2013 Lacrosse Season

Francis Wheeler-LaRusso Belmont, Mass. Fairfield University Midfield
Wheeler-La-Russo suits up as a sophomore for the 2013 campaign after spending the last two years at Fairfield University. Prior to starting his college career, Wheeler-LaRossa attended Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury, Mass., where he finished his career with 24 goals and 27 assists. As a senior captain, the 6-0, 210 pound midfielder earned the team's MVP award and was also named a 2010 Boston Globe All-Star while grabbing first-team all-conference honors. Wheeler-LaRusso also earned four varsity letters in soccer, leading his squad to the 2010 Division I state crown. Wheeler-LaRusso is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Dylan White New Fairfield, Conn. New Fairfield Midfield
An all-state lacrosse player who was a two-time all-conference honoree during his final two seasons, White is a 5-10, 165 pound defensive midfielder who played four years of varsity lacrosse at New Fairfield High School. During his career, he helped lead the Rebels to a South-West Conference title as a sophomore as well as two appearances in the league championship game. That sophomore season, White and his squad extended their run even further and earned a spot in the title game of the Class M championship. White is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
