DENVER – Twenty local professional lacrosse players will represent the Denver Outlaws in a scrimmage against the University of Denver on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.

"One of our strongest relationships in the Denver area as far as the Outlaws are concerned is with the University of Denver,” General Manager Tony Seaman said. “Coach Tierney has invited us to scrimmage his team with as many members of our current Outlaw roster as we are able to bring into Denver next weekend. Our guys love the opportunity to compete. With many Pioneer alumni on our roster, it is an especially unique opportunity for them to go against their former coach and teammates."

Coached by Outlaws Assistant General Manager Jon Cohen and defenseman Matt Bocklet, the professional team's roster includes 14 players who saw time with the Outlaws last season. In addition, former Outlaw Sean Delaney joins five additional professional players on the team's roster.

Following the game, the Denver Outlaws will host their Fall Youth Clinic from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on the field, open to boys in first through eighth grade.
