Dean College Announces 2013 Regular Season Schedule

Franklin, MA - Head coach James "Doc" Behrer announced the Dean College Men's Lacrosse 2013 schedule that includes a 12-game regular season. Only four of the Bulldogs regular season games will be played at home.

The 2013 season kicks off March 14th on the road against ASA College, followed by a tilt with CC-Morris two days later on March 16th.

This season, the Bulldogs will play five games against Region III opponents; Finger Lakes CC, Cayuga CC, SUNY-Jefferson, Tompkins-Cortland CC and SUNY-Delhi. As the only current member of Region XXI, Dean is eligible to qualify for the Region III playoffs through a play-in bid based on winning percentage against Region III teams.

The 2013 season will mark the beginning of a new rivalry for Dean, as the Bulldogs with face Central Maine CC in a two-game home-at-home series. Central Maine will officially join Region XXI next season, giving Dean a true conference rival.

"This is an exciting season for Dean Lacrosse," beams Coach Behrer. "The addition of Central Maine to the schedule, gives us a true New England rival. This team is really embracing the "Road Warrior" mentality. It is a great time to be a Bulldog!"

Additional games include traditional bouts with Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, RI and Suffolk County CC on Long Island, NY. The Bulldogs kick off the home portion of their schedule with a match-up against Delaware Technical CC in the teams' first ever meeting.
