Mark Millon Selected First in the 2013 MLL Supplemental Draft

In the fifth round, the Outlaws selected defenseman Ethan Vedder, who played a career-best five games and assisted on a pair of goals for the Cannons in 2012. Vedder played two games in 2010 for the Outlaws.

Round six brought a familiar name to Denver in midfielder Adam Jones, who earned the National Lacrosse League's Rookie of the Year Award after setting a single-season rookie record with 29 goals for the Colorado Mammoth in 2012. Jones scored one goal in his two games for Hamilton as a rookie in the MLL last season.

In the eighth round, the Outlaws went back to defense with the selection of Tom Guadagnolo, a third-year player who appeared in 14 games during his first two seasons with Rochester. Sixth-year veteran Dan Deckelbaum, who has scored seven goals in 11 MLL games was added in round nine.

Round 10 saw another former Outlaw return to Denver with the selection of midfielder Mikey Thompson. The third-year player out of Virginia played two games for the Outlaws in 2011 before having his season cut short due to injury.

The team drafted another midfielder in round 11, adding former Duke Blue Devil Steve Schoeffel. With their final pick, the Outlaws brought back defenseman Ken Clausen. The second-year player out of Virginia picked up 16 ground balls as a rookie for the Outlaws in 2010, but has battled knee injuries since.

Overall, the Outlaws selected one goalie, two attackmen, four midfielders and three defensemen in the supplemental draft.

We are thrilled with the players we were able to pick up today in the supplemental draft," Head Coach Jim Stagnitta said. "We had specific needs going in and feel like we were able to address each of those. We are especially pleased with the level of experience as well as the quality of players we added to the Outlaws roster. We improved our team today and are excited to welcome this group to the Outlaws."
