Wings Fade in Fourth, as Calgary Wins Going Away

The Philadelphia Wings fell behind 5-0 early against the Calgary Roughnecks and could never recover, ultimately falling 16-8 at Wells Fargo Center Sunday night.

Sunday's loss follows the Wings' 13-12 nail biter loss to the Bandits in Buffalo Saturday night and drops the team record to 2-2 on the season, currently placing them third in the NLL East Division.

The Wings trailed 8-2 after two quarters, but rallied to within two goals in the second half, before fading late in the fourth quarter.

Philadelphia was led by transition player Paul Rabil, who tallied three goals and two assists, and forward Kevin Crowley with two goals and three assists. Additionally, forward Kyle Ross netted two goals, bringing him to six goals for the weekend after he led the Wings with four goals Saturday night.

After the team's bye week this week, the Wings will return to action against the Rochester Knighthawks at Wells Fargo Center for the team's business person's special on Friday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m.
