La Salle Doubles up Mount St. Mary's in Opener

PHILADELPHIA - Erin McCabe (Nyack, N.Y./Nyack) scored three goals and several others had multi-goal games as La Salle doubled up on Mount St. Mary's, 12-6, in the season opener for both squads at McCarthy Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Kelly Furman (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) put together a four-point day on two goals and two assists, and Katelyn Fay (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) and Lauren McDermott (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) also recorded two apiece for the Explorers (1-0).

Mount St. Mary's (0-1) saw six goals from six different players.
