No. 4 Limestone Takes out No. 1 Dowling in Title Rematch
Matt Crough led Dowling with a pair of goals and assists for five points and added five groundballs while Billy Richardson and James Tucci each had a goal and an assist. Brennan, Burns and McElhone each had solo goals. Burns added seven groundballs and Louis Riley had five while converting on 10 of 21 faceoffs.
Limestone returns to the field on Tuesday, February 27 when they travel to Banner Elk, N.C. to take on Lees-McRae in their Conference Carolinas opener. The Saints have never lost to LMC, holding a perfect 18-0 record all-time. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. in the mountains of North Carolina.
