La Salle Romps in Victory at Howard
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rookie Katelyn Fay (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) tore up the field for a six-point day on four goals and two assists to lead the La Salle women's lacrosse squad to a 22-4 romp over Howard on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Caitlyn Brostrand (Runnemede, N.J./Camden Catholic) added three goals, and a pair of players - including Erin McCabe (Nyack, N.Y.) and Lauren McDermott (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) - recorded three points apiece on two goals and an assist.
Maura Malone (Farmington Hills, Mich./Mercy) recorded five saves to pick up her second win of the season.
La Salle improves to 2-1, while Howard drops to 0-4.
