Berry Wins at Piedmont to Improve to 3-0
DEMOREST, Ga. -- Berry College improved to 3-0 after winning at Piedmont College, 12-4, on Wednesday.
"The defense played well today and it's good to get off to a 3-0 start," said BC Head Coach Chris Delfausse. "It's always nice to beat an in-state rival, too, but we didn't play our best today. We need to put out a better effort to beat Virginia Wesleyan next week in Charlotte."
All three goalkeepers played in the game for Berry. Jordan Boreman (3-0) started and got the win.
Piedmont lost its second straight game and dropped to 3-2.
