Madison, N.J. St. Mary's rebounded from last week's loss with a dominant 13-5 non-conference victory over the host Drew Rangers Saturday afternoon. Senior Patrick Mull (Fallston, Md./Fallston) dished five assists while first-year Conor Jordan (Rockville, Md./Rockville) and sophomore Will Lerch (Lothian, Md./Calverton) each collected a hat trick in the win.

The Rangers (1-1) notched five more shots than St. Mary's in the second quarter as both teams found the back of the net twice. Neither team scored for the first seven-and-half minutes of the period until Jordan fired off his second of the day off a Mull pass at 7:32.

Then Drew's Patrick Lamon (Severna Park, Md.) registered two goals to finally put his team on the scoreboard. The Seahawks went up five goals two seconds before sophomore Matt Tarrant (Mount Airy, Md./Urbana) put one in the net.

The Seahawks doubled up on Drew in the final two quarters as St. Mary's outscored the hosts 6-3 in the final 30 minutes to seal the 13-5 victory. Lerch tallied two goals while sophomore Tim Perugini (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) chipped in a goal and two assists.

Senior Albert Mitchell (Shrewsbury, Mass./Saint John's) controlled face-off X with a 14 of 19 effort while fellow classmate Dalton Yohn (Westminster, Md./South Carroll) and Mitchell led the team in ground balls with seven and six pickups, respectively. Senior Justin Harty (Medford Lakes, N.J./Camden Catholic) collected five ground balls and two caused turnovers to anchor the defense.

First-year Joey Casey (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Saint Joseph) notched 14 saves and three ground balls in the win while Andrew Goldberg (Randolph, N.J.) and Kyle Mariboe (Hightstown, N.J.) split time in goal and combined for four saves for Drew.
