Oilers Come Up Short in Shootout at Bridgeport

University of Findlay came up short against Bridgeport, losing 20-14 on Thursday, March 7 in Bridgeport, Conn.

The Oilers were out-scored by a 13-4 margin in the first half of the game, but won the second half with a 10-7 advantage in goals.

Sarah Lankton had six goals while Taylor Trice found the back of the net four times.

The Oilers out-shot Bridgeport by a 33-25 margin and Emily Dinda picked up four saves between the pipes for Findlay.

They will be back in action again on March 14 at Adams State. The contest is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
