La Salle Scores Last Four to Edge San Diego State

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - La Salle rattled off the last four goals of the game to come from behind and top San Diego State 14-13 on Friday night at SDSU's Aztec Lacrosse Field.

Lauren McDermott (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) scored both the game-tying and game-winning goals with 5:18 and 4:25 remaining, respectively. She finished with three goals on the evening.

Caitlyn Brostrand (Runnemede, N.J./Camden Catholic) was once again the leading goal-scorer, tallying four scores. Melanie Sarcinello (Newtown Square, Pa./Marple Newtown) added three points on two goals and an assist.

The Explorers' 6-1 record marks the best-ever start through seven games for the La Salle program.

The host Aztecs drop to 2-2.
