#14 Pfeiffer Starts Fast, Cruises to Win at Erskine

DUE WEST, S.C. - Powered by 15 first half goals, Pfeiffer was able to roll past host Erskine 20-1 in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Falcons, ranked #14 in the latest IWLCA poll, improve their school-record start to 7-0 overall, now 2-0 in league play. The Fleet drop to 3-6, 0-5 after the loss.

Sarah Daly, Kristi Korn and Ashleigh Kassab would all record hat tricks in the win as the Lady Falcons saw 12 different players register at-least one goal on Saturday. Daly, along with Kristina Anderson and Carly Garrison, would each pick up two assists. Britton Muir scooped up a game-high seven groundballs and three caused turnovers in the win while Katherine Athens had a game-high five draw controls. Starting goalkeeper Cassidy Wilson picked up the win stopping nine Flying Fleet shots on the day, six in the second half.

Pfeifer would out-shoot Erskine 35-10 in the match and lead with 23 groundballs to the Fleet's 18. Erskine's lone goal would come at the 21:00 mark of the second half as Von McKenzie tallied from Kelly Dalziel.

The Lady Falcons will return home to N.E. Lefko Field on Wednesday afternoon set to host Shepherd at 3:00 p.m.
