CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Third-ranked North Carolina scored the deciding goal with 6:49 to play, and the Tar Heels held on for an 8-7 victory over No. 8 Virginia. Leading the way for UNC was Kara Cannizzaro, who finished with four goals, including the game winner, and an assist.
