No. 19 Bowdoin Tops St. Lawrence to Give Archbell First Win

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Bowdoin gave first-year coach Jason Archbell his first career win as head coach in a 9-6 victory over St. Lawrence in a game played at Georgetown University on Wednesday night.

Up 4-3 at halftime, Bowdoin found themselves down 6-4 after three periods. The Polar Bears were able to rally, however, to score the final five goals of the contest - including a back-breaking goal in the fourth quarter from Billy Bergner off a clean faceoff win by Rob Talcott and feed from Will Wise- to clinch the victory.

19th-ranked Bowdoin moves to 1-1 this season while St. Lawrence falls to 2-2. More details on the game will be posted on Thursday.

Bowdoin will return to action against NESCAC foe Amherst on Saturday at Brown University.
