LVC Dominates FDU-Florham Under the Lights

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Under the lights at Arnold Field for the first time, Lebanon Valley blasted FDU-Florham in an 18-4 win Friday night.

The Dutchmen (4-2) scored the first six goals of the game and took advantage of a penalty-filled game with six man-up strikes to dominate the Devils (1-5) from start to finish.

Malik Pedroso continued his torrid play with four goals and as many assists, and Alex Beard also scored four with a helper while Ian Schmid had a hat trick. Freshman Klayton Garman scored twice in his first career start, and Matt Lubawski had two goals and two assists off the bench. Ryan Lanigan, Scott Travers, and Jeremy Beaver also scored for LVC.

The Dutchmen scored all six first-quarter goals, then outscored the Devils 6-2 in the second quarter to take a commanding 12-2 halftime lead; three of LVC's six man-up goals game in the quarter. LVC hit all four in the third quarter, as well, holding FDU scoreless for more than 25 minutes before they found the net early in the fourth quarter.

Mike Moll made eight saves in three quarters of work, allowing just two goals; Kevin Krasley played the fourth in relief. Tim Zangara had 15 stops in the loss as LVC outshot FDU 49-21.

The Dutchmen will visit LaRoche on March 23.
