Vikings Claim One-Goal Win at Transylvania

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kristan Dziurzynski scored six goals--including the game-winner with 23 seconds left--as Berry College won at Transylvania, 14-13, on Saturday.

Berry stopped a three-game losing streak and improved to 3-4. Transy fell to 3-2.

Taylor Martin had seven saves for the Vikings. Elizabeth Flatt scored twice for the visitors.

The score was 8-8 at halftime. Berry held a 41-22 lead in shots.

For Transy, Lydia Shaughnessy stopped 11 BC shots. Aubrey Bausum netted six goals for the Pioneers.

The Vikings host Benedictine on Monday at 2:00 p.m.
