Begley scored his final two goals and Doherty added his second, but Marist still trailed 14-9 going into the fourth quarter.

Aedan Herman (Stafford, Va.) scored on an assist from Rice at the 12:05 mark to pull the Red Foxes to within 14-10, but Duke scored the next five goals to put the game away.

Marist jumps back into conference action when it travels to Canisius, the defending MAAC Champions, for a 1:00 p.m. game on Saturday.
