IWLCA Poll for Women's Division II - March 18th

The LIU Post Pioneers hold on to the No. 1 ranking in the IWLCA poll for the fourth consecutive week as the reigning champions remain undefeated in the 2013 campaign.

The Northeast-10 conference continues to lead all leagues with five ranked teams, while the PSAC remains closely behind with four teams in the poll. The ECC and Conference Carolinas both boast two ranked teams as well.

The NE-10 is led by No. 4 Adelphi; the Panthers hold steady from last week. Bentley jumps up two spots to land at No. 7, while LeMoyne moves to No. 9. Stonehill rounds out the top-10 at No. 10, and New Haven slides to No. 13.

West Chester from the PSAC holds at No. 2, keeping a first-place vote. Lock Haven moves up to No. 11, while Mercyhurst (No. 14) and Bloomsburg (No. 15) switch places from last week.

The ECC continues to be led by top-ranked LIU Post, while Dowling also holds their position from last week as the Golden Lions remain at No. 8.

The Conference Carolinas had some shifting as Limestone rises to hold the No. 3 position and Pfeiffer also moves up, landing at No. 6.

Rollins, an independent in lacrosse, slides to No. 5 while Florida Southern, also an independent school in lacrosse, moves back into the poll and re-enters the rankings at No. 11.

On Wednesday, a top-10 match-up takes place as ECC rivals meet on Long Island with top-ranked LIU Post hosting No. 8 Dowling. No. 3 Limestone welcomes No. 15 Bloomsburg on the same day. On Saturday, an NE-10 clash between ranked teams takes place as No. 10 Stonehill hosts No. 13 New Haven. On Sunday, the No. 15 Huskies welcome No. 1 LIU Post and No 3 Limestone hosts No. 11 Lock Haven.

This is the fourth weekly poll for the IWLCA for the 2013 season; the next regular-season poll will be released Mar. 26.
