Player Impact Ratings as of 3/24 for the 2013 Lacrosse Season

Who are the best players at each position in the men's and women's college lacrosse? That question generates considerable debate. Assessments of players tend to be quite subjective. On the other hand, looking at traditional player statistics can often be misleading.

Larry Feldman, who started and still maintains the computer ratings program, has developed a statistics-based ratings of players. His Player Impact Ratings, which cover the three men's and women's NCAA divisions, account for teams' strength of schedule. Therefore, a player on a top team facing a tough group of opponents isn't disadvantaged relative to a player on a lesser team whose opponents are, on average, much weaker.
