IWLCA Poll for Women's Division II - April 1st

The reigning national champions from LIU Post Pioneers hold on to the top spot in this week's IWLCA weekly poll as the top six schools remain the same from last week.

The Northeast-10 continues to lead all conferences with five ranked schools, with the PSAC close behind with four schools in the top-15. Both the ECC and the Conference Carolinas claim two schools each while two schools, independents in lacrosse, fill out the rest of the rankings.

The NE-10 is led by Adelphi, who remained in the No. 5 spot this week. LeMoyne moved up two slots to land at No. 7, and Stonehill also rose, coming in at No. 9 this week. Bentley moved to No. 12 while New Haven rose to No. 13.

West Chester from the PSAC held at No. 2, while Lock Haven moved into the top-10, earning the No. 8 spot this week. Mercyhurst (No. 14) and Bloomsburg (No. 15) close out the poll.

LIU Post from the ECC remains at No. 1 and Dowling rounds out the top-10, finishing at No. 10. Both of the Conference Carolinas schools remain in the top-six as Limestone (No. 3) and Pfeiffer (No. 6) hold steady from last week.

Rollins remains at No. 4 while Florida Southern, also an independent in lacrosse, moves up one spot to land at No. 11.

On Wednesday, No. 13 New Haven hosts No. 7 LeMoyne in an NE-10 match-up. Saturday features eight ranked teams in action against each other, including a key Conference Carolinas tilt between No. 3 Limestone and No. 6 Pfeiffer in South Carolina.

The Northeast-10 has a top-10 match-up as No. 7 LeMoyne hosts No. 9 Stonehill. The PSAC schedule includes two games between ranked teams as No. 15 Bloomsburg welcomes No. 8 Lock Haven and No. 2 West Chester hosts No. 14 Mercyhurst.

This is the sixth weekly poll for the IWLCA for the 2013 season; the next weekly poll will be released April 9.
