No. 8 Franklin & Marshall Rolls to Win over Bryn Mawr

LANCASTER, Pa. No. 8 Franklin & Marshall rolled to an 18-3 victory over Bryn Mawr Wednesday afternoon in Centennial Conference (CC) action. The Diplomats improved to 7-2, 3-0 CC while the Owls fell to 2-7, 0-4 CC.

Three players picked up hat tricks while two more had a pair as the Diplomats did most of the damage in the first half with 15 points. Caroline Krohn led the way with three goals and three assists and went over the 100-point plateau with 105 career points. Maggie Mae Shields and Brittney Jorgenson also hit the trifecta for the Diplomats.

Mary Mitchell and Emily Everdell each tallied two goals and finished with an assist while Ali Kelly, Grace Saliba, Casey Madden, Kimberly Abruzzo and Emily D'Erasmo picked up a goal apiece. Saliba fished with six helpers for F&M.

Jen Noon had four groundballs and Madden came away with three draws.

Kelsey Hoffman took the win with one save and Kaitlin Hardt kept the Owls off the board in the second half.

F&M returns to action on Friday when the Diplomats host No. 9 TCNJ at 4:00 p.m.
