Ference wasn't done as she would end up scoring four times in the final 8:42 of the first half. She tallied at 6:46, 3:53, and again with 18 ticks to go as the Hawks hit halftime up 11-8.

Both teams traded two goals apiece in the opening four minutes of the second half. Jweid and Littleton scored for Hartwick with Button netting both of the Saxon goals.

'Wick would shut down the Alfred attack over the next 21 minutes of action, allowing zero goals. The Hartwick offense tacked on five more scores in the meantime to open up an eight-goal lead, 18-10.

Luce scored two straight at 22:59 and 20:45. Littleton tallied her thirteenth of the season midway through the half and Jweid topped off her five-goal day with her team-best twenty-third goal of the year with just over 10 minutes left on the clock. Luce closed out Hartwick's scoring with her fourteenth of the campaign before AU scored a pair late to make the final score line.
