Defense Helps No. 17 Penn Hand Brown Third Straight Loss

Penn woke up. Mark Leonhard scored off a Chris Hupfeldt pass just a minute after Hurster's man-up goal. No one would score for nearly 17 minutes after that, and when scoring finally came it was all Penn -- Nick Doktor (off a Losco feed), Belinsky (from Will Laco) and Losco all netting goals in the game's final 2:26. The last two were in a man-up situation, as Penn was again successful in the man-up (3 of 4).

As for Feeney, he had five saves without allowing a goal in the second quarter, and had eight of his stops after the break (and after Blynn's early third-quarter tally). Feeney's save total was two shy of his career high, set earlier this season at Lehigh.

Penn returns to Ivy League action again next Saturday, again on the road as the Quakers face Harvard. That game will face off at 1:00 p.m.
