Photos: Top-Ranked Terps Use 6-2 Run to Edge No. 2 Tar Heels

COLLEGE PARK, Md. Top-ranked Maryland won a hard-fought ACC battle with No. 2 North Carolina, 14-13, on Saturday. Katie Schwarzmann and Taylor Cummings combined for nine goals for the Terps, who used a 6-2 run in the second half to escape with the one-goal victory. Maryland remains unbeaten at 14-0, while the Tar Heels (11-2) lost for the first time since the opening game of the season. Kara Canizzaro and Abbey Friend each netted three goals for UNC.
