Computer Predictions: Results for Games Played 4/05-4/07

How did the computer fare for this first week of predictions? As a reminder, we give the computer credit for games picked correctly (of course) and for games it declares toss-ups if the margin of victory is three goals or fewer. Picks in blue below were correct; those in red were wrong. For the games that were rated as toss-ups, the margin of victory is shown along with overtimes, if any.

For men's games, the computer had another good week, finishing with 39 of 46 correct for an 84.8% picking average. The mark was under 80%, and just barely, only for Division I. For the women's games, results improved from last week, with the computer correctly calling 44 of 52 games (84.6%), with more of the misses coming in Division III. For all games picked, the record was 83 of 98 (84.7%). The weekly and season tallies are below.
