No. 4 Northwestern Caps 15-2 Season with Victory vs. Penn

Several Wildcats reached milestones on the afternoon, beginning with Fitzgerald whose four points increased her career total to 212, good for 10th on Northwestern's all-time list. Leonard corralled five draw controls to become only the second NU player to record at least 100 in a single season and now stands eight shy of Danielle Spencer's single-season mark of 110.

Defensively, Flibotte recorded her 36th caused turnover of the season, tying Alex Frank for the third-best single-season total in NU history.

Northwestern's 2013 senior class of Cassera, Conley, deLyra, Fitzgerald, Flibotte Amanda Macaluso and Thornton improved to 77-8 in their four years on campus and 38-2 in 40 career games at Lakeside Field.

With the regular season in the rearview mirror, Northwestern turns its attention to its first postseason test, the 2013 American Lacrosse Conference Tournament hosted by Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. As the tournament's No. 2 seed, the Wildcats earned a first-round bye and will face the winner of a Penn State-Vanderbilt opening-round match-up at 5:30 p.m. CT on Friday (May 3).
