No. 6 Penn Punches NCAA Ticket over Dartmouth in Ivy Final

“I think it was a really hard-fought battle out there. The game was one with some momentum swings,” head coach Amy Patton said. “There were a lot of situations throughout the entire game where if the ball falls one way or a goal goes in here or we get a stop there things could've been different. There were a lot of game-changing moments. I think a lot of those moments didn't go in our favor. If had they, you just don't know what could happen.

“My hat's off to Penn; I think they did a really good job following their game plan, playing very disciplined. They are a great representative to get that automatic bid out of the Ivy League, and I think there should be a lot of us in the league that will be in the NCAA Tournament,” Patton continued.

Seniors Courtney Bennett and Kelsey Johnson were named to the all-tournament team as were Calby and Bowers. For both Bowers and Johnson, it marked the second straight year the two earned conference tournament recognition. Bennett finished the day with three draw controls and reached triple digits for her career as she now has 101.

Bowers' 48 goals this season currently rank as tied for the 10th-best single-season mark in program history, while her 63 points are ninth best.
