Hartford, Conn. Senior tri-captain midfielder Megan Leonhard (Summit, N.J.) scored four times to lead the Trinity Bantams to a 19-2 victory over the visiting Augustana Vikings in the NCAA Division III second round this afternoon under the constant threat of rain on Sheppard Field.

The defending NCAA Champion Bantams improve to 19-0 with their College-record 27th consecutive win, setting a new Trinity record for wins in a season without a loss, and advance to their eighth NCAA Quarterfinals and their fourth in a row tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. against the College of New Jersey. Augustana, in its second season as a varsity program, closes its season at 17-4 with its first loss in 15 games.

Trinity took 33 shots, while the defense led by senior tri-captain Mallory Hinman (Longmeadow, Mass.), senior Hillary McNamara (Milton, Mass.), and juniors Midge Daniel (Wellesley, Mass.) and Lyndsey Shepard (Hamilton, Mass.) held the Vikings to just six shots. Trinity had a 17-5 edge on the draw and converted on three of its five free-position shots while stopping the Vikings on their lone free-position shot. Leonhard added a game-high five draw controls to her four goals, while Hildebrand finished with two goals and two assists.
