No. 3 RIT Routs No. 6 Tufts in NCAA Quarterfinals to Advance

Peter Bowers scored for Tufts with 1:31 to play in the first half, making it a 10-3 RIT lead at halftime.

Allister Warren scored the lone goal of the third quarter, tallying an unassisted goal with 13:49 to play in the quarter giving RIT an 11-3 lead.

Cole Bailey opened the fourth-quarter scoring for Tufts, tallying his 30th goal of the season at the 11:35 mark.

Warren, Krzyston and Kiesa scored consecutive goals for RIT, making 14-4 RIT.

Garrett Clarke scored late for Tufts making it a 14-5 final.

The game Sunday at Cortland is a rematch from a game back on March 27 that Cortland won 12-11 in double overtime. These two teams last met in the NCAA Tournament back in 2010 with Cortland coming away with a 15-7 win in the quarterfinals.
