No. 3 Le Moyne Finishes Strong to Down Adelphi in Semifinals

After Adelphi goalkeeper Eric Janssen turned the ball over after making a save, Chadderdon pushed Le Moyne's lead to two with his career-high fifth goal of the game with 2:42 left after dodging down the right alley. Off the ensuing faceoff, redshirt senior long-stick midfielder Brian Craig (Brewerton, N.Y./Central Square) picked up the loose ball and sent a pass to Frechette, who rifled in his team-leading 29th goal of the campaign. With time running down on a stall warning, Button scored his 26th goal of the year off a pass from behind the cage from Frechette with 50.5 seconds left.

Tuttle completed the game's scoring with 29 seconds left on a shot from the right edge of the crease.

White finished the game with nine saves to earn his 17th win of the season, the second-most in a single season by a Le Moyne netminder. Frechette tied his career high with six points on two goals and a career high-tying four assists. Prevost's four assists give him 40 on the season, the fifth-most in a season by a Dolphin and the most since Ryan Spillett '03 had 43 in 2003. His five points push Prevost to 58 on the year, the most by a Dolphin since Mike McDonald '08 had 59 in 2008. Janssen stopped just five shots in suffering his second loss of the season, both at the hands of the Dolphins.
