3d Rising - Player Evaluations from 3d Lacrosse, 5/19

#40 Stefan Bergman 2013
La Salle College High School
Position: Defenseman
Sub-position: On Ball Take Away
Rating: Player
College Commitment: University of Michigan

There is nothing subtle about Bergman's size, strength and range. However, the way he plays does not demand people's attention. Bergman is the type of kid who plays great positioning, does his job and when the ball hits the ground, he is all over it. He is surprisingly good off the ground for a big guy. Bergman put the ball on the ground on several occasions. Most importantly he turned those GB's into possessions for his team and quick transition opportunities. I look forward to seeing how Bergman develops as he moves onto play some Big Ten/Time lacrosse in college.

#25 D Andrew Eidenshink 2013
La Salle College High School
Position: Defenseman
Sub-position: On Ball Shut Down
Rating: Player

Eidenshink had a tough match-up on Saturday as he faced off against GC's number one offensive threat, Justin Guterding. Eidenshink more than delivered, holding Guterding to 1 goal and commanding his defense throughout the game. This kid is big, physical and plays great on ball defense. As opposed to using his stick and arms to prevent those he guards to score; he beats players to spots, gets in an athletic position and uses his body to push players to less desirable spots of the field. Overall, I thought Eidenshink had a very good game and made his match-up a pleasure to watch.
