Photos: NCAA Semifinals - #4 Duke Hangs on to Edge Cornell

Philadelphia, Pa. -- The Duke offense was a runaway freight train in the second and third quarters. The Blue Devils went on a 12-1 run, including nine goals in a row to build a comfortable 14-6 lead. But the Big Red Express came to life, scoring the final goal of Q3 and seven of the first eight in the fourth quarter to close the gap to 15-14 with just under a minute remaining. Duke hung on, scored the game's final goal, and ran out the clock for 16-14 semifinal victory.

Jordan Wolf scored three times during the Blue Devils' big run and finished with four goals on the day, while Jake Tripucka had a hat trick, and Kyle Turri made recorded 16 saves, including several important stops. Rob Pannell led the Big Red with five goals and two assists to set a career points record, and Connor Buczek had a hat trick. Photos of the action are by Ben and James Mackey.
