Marquette Announces Lacrosse NLI Signees for 2013-2014

MILWAUKEE Head coach Meredith Black and Marquette University announced its 2013 signing class on Thursday, featuring 10 student-athletes from seven different states.

"I am very excited about this class because they bring a lot of diversity," Black said.

"We have players from every position on the field, besides goalie, and they are all very strong at what they do. I think this class will help take our attack to the next level, but also will be pivotal in our defensive success. They are a fun group of girls who are very passionate about Marquette. They know what it is going to take in order to get our team to the next level and they are all willing to do that."

All 10 future Golden Eagles will have four years of eligibility when they arrive on campus in the summer of 2013.

The class includes three players from New York and a pair from Maryland, while California, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey and Ohio are also represented.
