Final 2013 National Ratings for High School Girls' Lacrosse

McDonogh School (MD) is the LaxPower High School Girls' Lacrosse National Champion for 2013.

LaxPower, the world's leading authority on lacrosse team performance ratings, is pleased to announce the National Coaches/Computer Ratings for high school girls' lacrosse for the recently completed 2013 spring season.

McDonogh School, Owings Mills (Md.), is LaxPower's national champion for 2013. The Eagles have repeated as champions for the 4th consecutive time with a 22-0 season and winning their 5th consecutive IAAM-A title. Chris Robinson's team finished in first place in the coaches' poll and second in the computer ratings. This is the ninth season in a row that they have finished in the Top 10.

McDonogh has run its unbeaten streak to 91 consecutive games, which is a national record, surpassing Carle Place's 73 wins in the early 1980s.

Moorestown (#2) won their 20th state championship this spring and finished first in the computer Power Ratings. The Quakers have a 51-game winning streak.

The top five programs in the country for 2013:

#1: McDonogh School, Owings Mills, Maryland (22-0) IAAM-A title (5th straight)
#2: Moorestown, Moorestown, New Jersey (25-0) New Jersey state champion (20th time)
#3: St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School, Alexandria, Va. (27-1) - ISL AA & VISAA I champion (7th straight)
#4: St. Anthony's, South Huntington, New York (17-1) CHSAA Class AA champion (6th straight)
#5: Mount Sinai, Mount Sinai, New York (20-0) New York state Class C champion

The final rankings were compiled using LaxPower's CCR rating formula, which combines the national computer rankings with a national poll. The computer ratings used for the rankings are based on 21,035 game scores for 2,793 high school teams. The poll, for which just the top 40 teams (plus ties) were used, is a product of rankings by 29 high school coaches from around the country. Each of these parameters represents 50% of the final tallied results.
