Fairfield Lacrosse Announces Incoming Freshmen for 2013-2014

Fleming earned two varsity letters at Saint Ignatius College Prep and helping the Wildcats to consecutive WCAL Championships. He scored 36 times, with 20 assists and 28 ground balls during his senior campaign, earning First Team All-WCAL accolades.

Giorgio earned four varsity letters at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, finishing his scholastic career with 55 points on 40 goals and 15 assists. He was part of 65 victories with the Warriors, including 18 in a senior season that he served as team captain. Giorgio scored 20 times, with seven assists, in that final campaign, earning DCL All-Star honors.

Kaiser captured earned a pair of varsity letters at Bryam Hills High School, where he served as a team captain his senior seasons. An All-Conference and All-Section selection as a senior, he won 75 percent of his face-offs and scored 15 times while handing out 10 assists. Kaiser earned team MVP honors as a junior as well as All-Conference and All-Section Honorable Mention recognition.

Knotsman earned four varsity letters at Bainbridge High School, where he was part of 49 wins. A 2013 All-America selection, he broke his own Washington State record for points in a single-season with 116, as a senior, scoring 67 times. Knotsman, a captain his junior and senior year, earned First-Team All-State in 2012 and '13 and finished his career with 164 goals, 134 assists and 174 ground balls.

Lavelle earned four varsity letters at Manhasset High School including a 2012 New York State Class C title. He scored 66 career goals for the Indians, with 27 of those tallies, and 11 assists, coming his senior season. Lavelle was named All-County, All-Long Island and All-Conference his senior season after having earned All-Conference and All-Long Island accolades in 2012.

Panepinto earned three varsity letters at Needham High School where he led the Rockets to 48 wins and a 2012 Division I Massachusetts State Championship. A two-time All-America selection, he scored 317 career points and following a 71 point senior campaign earned the title of 'Mr. Lacrosse' in Massachusetts. A captain in 2013, Panepinto earned his third Bay State First League honor and is a two-time selection to the Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic Teams.

Conor Walsh earned three varsity letters at Rumson-Fair Haven High School, captaining the Bulldawgs his senior season. He finished his career with 30 goals, 16 of which came in an injury shortened senior season, and 113 ground balls. Walsh helped lead the Dawgs won the 2013 Group 1 South Jersey State Title and a third consecutive Shore Conference Championship.

Jay Walsh earned three varsity letters at Duxbury High School where he helped the Dragons to 62 wins and consecutive Division 1 State Championships in 2011 and 2012. A captain his senior season, the LSM was named an ESPN Boston Pre-Season All-State Team selection prior to the 2013 campaign.

Williamson earned four varsity letters at Fordham Prep, leading the Rams to the 2011 and 2013 CHSAA AA League Title. A captain his final two seasons, helped lead the Ram to a 5.1 team GAA in 2013, as he recorded 86 ground balls and 51 caused turnovers. A two-time team Defender of the Year honoree, Williamson earned All-America selection his senior season.

In the past two seasons the Stags have won 20 games, including a program-best 12-4 mark during the 2012 seasons. Fairfield has spent 16 weeks in the USILA National Poll the past two seasons, reaching as high as 13th in both seasons.

The Stags will play there ninth season as a member of the ECAC Lacrosse League in 2014, before joining the CAA for the 2015 season.
